Yangjinag National Cutlery Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center

The new Guangdong Network on 23 August report (reporter Suo Youwei) As China's largest hardware Cutlery manufacturing and export base, Yangjiang, in Guangdong of China, is proposed to establish a National cutlery products quality supervision and inspection center. And this application has been approved by the Guangdong provincial government and the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of quality supervision last month. At present, Yangjiang is launching this application to the relevant national quality inspection administration and the national ministries.
Yangjiang, as the "Chinese Cutlery capital", whose cutlery history can be traced back to one thousand four hundred years ago, has become well-known in the period of the Republic of China. At present, the hardware Cutlery production in Yangjiang accounted for nearly 70 percent of national production and exports accounted for 80%, with the annual output of eight billion Yuan. It is all agreed that Yangjiang has developed this traditional but ordinary industry into an industry with distinguished features.
Yangjiang established Guangdong Province Hardware Products Quality Supervision and inspection station in 1995. In the past two years, Yangjiang cutlery exports suffered return warning bulletin for many times because of the EU trade barriers. With the intensifying of the regional market competition, especially for the international trade market access being increased, the quality of Yangjiang cutlery needs to be improved in urgent, which requires a strong technical support. There is no delaying to establish a national cutlery products quality supervision and inspection center in Yangjiang, to improve the detection capability of Yangjiang cutlery products
 
It is reported that the function of this center station is to provide a product testing public service platform for Yangjiang Hardware Cutlery enterprises as well as to construct the most authoritative organization for cutlery products quality detection. The center mainly includes the inspection center building, equipment purchase and human resources collocation. And there will increase 16 professionals in this station sooner.
Last year, Yangjiang declared the establishment of national cutlery products quality supervision and inspection center and declared it comprehensively in March this year.  Guangdong government will allocate ten million Yuan to support the construction of the center and its matchmaking, as well as attracting professional and technical personnel to the center.2012-08
